Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time, there was a brave little boy who grew up to be a fierce and honorable warrior. He was loved by all, and he played the sport of the gods like he had been born with skates on his feet and a stick in his hand. The gods were so pleased by his skill that one day they invited him to Castle Greene, at the base of magnificent Mt. August...

Full Moon in the Forest

The trees provided a welcomed escape and soon Nataliya could no longer hear the villagers' cries. Her mare was skeptical of their surroundings and showed her displeasure with a flick of her tail and a twitch of her ears, but she kept on running.

Nat wasn’t sad to leave her home. Even the horrors that awaited her inside the forest weren’t as terrifying as what awaited her in her own village if she were to stay. Her own kin had eagerly revealed her hiding place to the mob and her only friend was dead.

Nataliya ~ Hockey Gods

He could sense the power in her. Out of all of his opponents, Nataliya was the one he most looked forward to beating. She handled herself on the ice like a #warrior through and through.

And that was what he was afraid of.

The North States and the South Country have been at war for centuries. There is only one thing that can bring the villages together--a summons from the gods. The event is a tournament of strength, honor, and skill. The destination is the fabled Mt. August. And the reward is fortune and glory beyond measure. But the journey to the tournament proves to be just as treacherous as the battle itself. When the puck drops, who will be left standing?

“When I play in the tournament tomorrow, I will come after each warrior from the North. And then I will come for you.” She let go of her hold so abruptly that he fell back and stumbled to regain his footing on the slick ice.

She turned on her heel and skated back toward the castle.
